I’m taking a slight detour on this site to wish my parents a very happy anniversary!  Step back in time with me to their wedding day, 51 years ago!  Here’s a photo from the big day. Isn’t it sweet? I think Dad looks a little like Elvis.

The following photo was taken several years later, when Dad worked at the NASA Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Fla. It’s from some VIP party. Mom is the third one in from the right (in the white dress - cool shoes); Dad is the last one on the right.  I know there are probably some famous astronauts in the picture, but I couldn’t tell you who.  Maybe my dad will leave us a comment and give us more details.

I wish I had more pics of the two of them together that I could share with you.  Maybe my brother will send some more over (hint). 

To my lovely parents: Have a wonderful day celebrating another year together.  You two are the best! I thank God for you and for my life because of you.  Love you bunches,
