My Life via Mail, Text & Voice Mail

Thanks for stopping by again! Why not stay connected by subscribing to my RSS feed.

I think one can learn a lot about a person by browsing through their current mail or listening to their voice mail, text messages, etc.  (Not that I would ever do that…I’m just suggesting).  Using this method, here’s a snapshot of my life this past week:

Mail
About 1 dozen post cards from various colleges
A fancy looking letter inviting my daughter to the Student Ambassador program (2nd one I believe)
A couple of bigger envelopes containing college brochures
A letter with info on two more scholarship opportunities at Mae’s college of choice
A notice about a bounced check from my bank (one of my customer’s checks)
A notice about payment due on our wireless account
The first bill to come from the neurosurgeon (for the initial visit)
Updated auto insurance policy, due to my new car being added
A Thanksgiving card from my Mom and Dad
A post surgery card (Didn’t even know there was such a thing) with a $5 Starbucks card inside (Thanks, Sis)
Another card announcing my Aunt & Uncle’s 60th anniversary party

Message Machine
About 5 automated messages about the late wireless bill
Three calls in two days about some dumb survey (when I was in pain and had no patience for it)
A call reminding us about the Student Ambassador meeting at the college (not going)
“Hey Jenn, this is your brother calling.  I’ll try your cell phone.”
Debbie calling to find out if I want her to pick me up to go grocery shopping
Christie calling to say she’ll call me about bringing a dinner over

Text Notes
Arrived China (from Hubby)
Arrived Nanjing (ditto)
I don’t think Saturday night is going to work, P has his filming project. (from Mae)
Just got out of a house. Second one of the day.  I’m exhausted. (from Hubby)
Waz up? (ditto)
Traveling by bus today. (ditto)

I think I’m afraid to look over my week’s life in mail. I’ve gotten way too many late notices from the library and I hate to admit, I’ve not checked my phone’s voice-mail all week. I’m really bad about the phone!
