Rescue Effort

Friday morning was crazy.  The girls were trying to find outfits for their Christmas variety show that evening. They went through a few wardrobe changes before finally getting the right combination.  Later Mae texted me to bring some black leggings and her black, high-heeled shoes to school.  She forgot she had needed them for a particular costume. Oddly enough, I found the leggings in the shoe bin.  Well, at least that made my job easy.

While I was in the scary-messy teenager haven, I discovered this on Kiki’s keyboard. It’s my lined, gray wool skirt.  Nice, huh?

Then upon further exploration into the teenager catacombs, I discovered my dressy gray slacks in the bathroom.

I rescued them before they could end up in the deep recesses of the dungeon closet; otherwise, I might never see them again.

Now I’m missing my favorite pair of slip-on tennies.  Anyone?

Note: I know these photos aren’t great, but if I waited for someone to help take and upload these, I would have missed my window of opportunity. They came via my phone.

That looks suspiciously like my eldest daughter’s room, only she is only 11 and can’t borrow my clothes yet….but it is only a matter of time!

Poor you. Sounds like you need a lock on your closet door or else you may not have anything left to wear. Good luck!

Ah, yes. The Teen Dungeon. My poor Mom! I can’t even tell you how many items from her closet were lost in my room way back when. ; )
